Happy Friday!

Happy Friday! Well, Aly and I have continued to keep busy with the boys this week! Its been nice to continue to enjoy the weather before it gets too hot! The humidity hasn't been too fun the last few days, and the AC has already been kicked on!

Brady has continued to be the sweetest baby during his healing process! We are so proud of him and so thankful that we are on the road to be past this! He is quite a snuggle bunny, and we definitely don't deny any snuggle time with him!
Snuggled up!

The dogs being Brady's body guards! Silly pups!

Eyes open! Brady loved the swing...so does his Mommy! :)

Parker started doing his therapy twice a week and did well! He is already showing great signs of improvement by doing more pushing off and standing! Wahoo little man! He has recently found his feet and thinks they're pretty awesome. He continues to be a  Rollover King!

Yummy, yummy toes!!!!

Mia-girl enjoying some warm sun!

Parker and I are rockin' the shades!

Parker is such a ham! Sweet Brady snoozed through the picture! :)

Aly and I decided to brave the grocery store with two babies. We survived, as did the babies! They slept a majority of the time which made it easy for their mommas.

Saturday we will be participating in a charity walk for Multiple Sclerosis, as our close family friend, had been diagnosed some years ago. We are so excited to be walking for such a great cause, spending time with friends, and its super we'll be outside too!

Happy Friday Everyone!

What a beautiful day for a walk!

We had a wonderful day today! It was so fun to take a nice walk today, it got the babies out of the house, as well as these mommas! It wasn't a terribly long one, but long enough for Aly during this post baby time! Parker found his feet today and rolled over ALL by himself 2 times today!!! He surprises me everyday. :) We start two therapies a week this week, beginning tomorrow! He had a great day today with it, so hopefully he does well tomorrow too!
Here we are in the living room! Mom went to fill up her water glass…and she came back to this!

He had his diaper changed and while momma was getting his bath water ready, here we were on our belly again!!!

Brady boy, had a wonderful morning, but a rough afternoon. He loved being outside today and snoozed the majority of the time! However, in the afternoon--- Long story short…he wasn't able to have his "first mini surgery" at the hospital after he was born, so Aly had to take him today to have that procedure done. It has been a long evening for mommy, since he's a little fussy but we know he won't ever remember it! Here is the little snookums on his first walk!

What a cutie-patootie!

Sweet bubba on his first walk!

Rock Chalk!!!

The Edwards/Johnson household is pumped to have a Jayhawk win this evening! So glad we will continue to get to enjoy watching the tournament this year! It was a very wonderful Sunday with outdoor work in awesome weather, more grilling, and more family! We are blessed to have so much support around us. Here are a few photos we absolutely loved!
Silly Mia-girl loves her brother!

This is my kid, aka "Elmer Fudd".  No burns for us!

Momma Ash and her baby boy, Parker!

Momma Aly and her baby boy, Brady!

Baby Brady taking some shade from the 'rays.

Parker got worn out from playing and snuggled up on Grandma Julie :)

Cousin Aly loves her newest cousin, Brady Taylor!

After the game this evening, Parker needed a cat nap because he was worn out from all the cheering! Such a sweet boy!

This was a few days ago...Parker was doing his "patch time" and was happy to show his new bud, how to use these toys! He thought they were pretty cool! Many fun times to come!

Hope everyone had a safe and fun Spring Break!

Finally!...Beautiful Weather :)

Well, we were finally able to get out and enjoy the weather! We are hoping it stays like this the next few weeks so we can get out and take nice walks! We did attempt a few walks to get Brady here, and they went pretty well, considering we took along all three dogs. Yesterday was a great day- watching the NCAA tournament, grilling out, and spending the evening with our second family, the Mies'. We don't get everyone together very often since there are 2 left in high school, 3 in college, and now, 2 with babies! Last night was definitely a treat and a wonderful way to end Spring Break!

Parker loved sitting outside with his Aunt Clare!
Have I mentioned he LOVES his hands?

A little blurry, but ALL smiles!
We loved play time with John before bedtime!

Brady boy, is as sweet as ever! He was able to enjoy some time in the sun when our cousins, Garrett, Serena, and their 3 children, Kalea, Oaken, and Penelope stopped by for a visit after visiting the zoo! He snuggled right up to his momma and took a nice long snooze! He then got lots of lovin' from the Mies' girls that evening! Brady loved being in his KU gear, and was all jazzed up for the game...who are we kidding, he slept throughout it, even though Grandpa Dean was VERY "enthusiastic" the entire game. :)

Ready for game time! He is so handsome in blue! Rock Chalk Baby!!! Go KU!

We're hoping for another great win from the Jayhawks tonight! Once it warms up a bit more today, we'll be outside enjoying the Spring trees in blossom!

First post! WHOOP WHOOP!

We are new to the whole, "blogging" scene and are excited to begin! We just hope we stay on top of posting and sharing! :)

At almost 7 months old, Parker has been very busy! We are now venturing into the solid food world and boy, are we NOT interested! Mommy had sweet potato splotches on her face for about 3 days (due to the spitting). At his 4 month check up, I had noticed Parker's eyes began to "float". We are now seeing a Pediatric Optometrist who has advised us to begin patching his eyes. We have a weekly schedule so we can keep on track and so far, Parker has been a TROOPER! Hopefully the patching continues to help and we won't have to discuss treatment further. As for our mobility, Parker LOVES to be on the floor. He hasn't been interested in putting weight on his legs. We were also sent to a physical therapist right by the house, to help strengthen his legs. The front side, quads is what we are focusing on, the back side is oober strong! We have to master sitting up before we can attempt long periods of standing. His sitting up has been super fabulous and I have been one proud momma! He absolutely loves being in his floor saucer and does one mean back bend! Silly boy!

At 8 days old, Brady Taylor has got the whole "baby thing" down pat! Eat, sleep, poop, and once in awhile, reminds everyone that he has a great set of lungs! Brady is a great eater and picked up on that task MINUTES after he was born. He's a stud. He is definitely treating his momma right by sleeping well at night, feeding, getting his diaper changed, and then snoozes again. He has beautiful dark locks but it is already lightening! Can't wait to see how much he grows until his 2 month appointment!
