First post! WHOOP WHOOP!

We are new to the whole, "blogging" scene and are excited to begin! We just hope we stay on top of posting and sharing! :)

At almost 7 months old, Parker has been very busy! We are now venturing into the solid food world and boy, are we NOT interested! Mommy had sweet potato splotches on her face for about 3 days (due to the spitting). At his 4 month check up, I had noticed Parker's eyes began to "float". We are now seeing a Pediatric Optometrist who has advised us to begin patching his eyes. We have a weekly schedule so we can keep on track and so far, Parker has been a TROOPER! Hopefully the patching continues to help and we won't have to discuss treatment further. As for our mobility, Parker LOVES to be on the floor. He hasn't been interested in putting weight on his legs. We were also sent to a physical therapist right by the house, to help strengthen his legs. The front side, quads is what we are focusing on, the back side is oober strong! We have to master sitting up before we can attempt long periods of standing. His sitting up has been super fabulous and I have been one proud momma! He absolutely loves being in his floor saucer and does one mean back bend! Silly boy!

At 8 days old, Brady Taylor has got the whole "baby thing" down pat! Eat, sleep, poop, and once in awhile, reminds everyone that he has a great set of lungs! Brady is a great eater and picked up on that task MINUTES after he was born. He's a stud. He is definitely treating his momma right by sleeping well at night, feeding, getting his diaper changed, and then snoozes again. He has beautiful dark locks but it is already lightening! Can't wait to see how much he grows until his 2 month appointment!

With Love,
Ashlyn & Parker, Aly & Brady
